Daily Prompt

"We were laughing, talking, having a blast. I glanced at the time, 1:42. 41 minutes later, I looked again. My heart stopped and I gripped the steering wheel so hard my hands were white. The clock still said 1:42. A tsunami of memories drowned me. I focused my attention on the road, unable to blink. It was of no use though."

I wrote this one also. Can anyone see my illusion for picking that time?
